Dry Creek Trail (longer 2nd hike)

Since last week's hike was so much fun I figured why not go again this week. I let my roommate tag along on this hike. It snowed a good bit this week so the trail was a little a little tougher to walk on, but it wasn't too bad.

A little bit of the map at the trail head

Here is a nice little opening we came across about a mile into the hike.

This is what it looks like if you step off the trail

Here is a cool little creek that was frozen, but you could still see a little bit of water running under it. It was right next to the trail and only about 20 yards long then disappeared back into the snow.

A little wood bridge to cross the river...

It might be a little little hard to see, but there was a pretty cool rainbow above this mountain. It is an "upside down" rainbow. If you can't see it try tilting your screen or something...because it is there.

There was a pretty cool waterfall across the valley.

OK.... These might look the same, but each one was from a different spot or the picture is pointed in a little different direction. If a picked one certain picture you would miss a little bit of another........ So I put them all on here. Also, If you look in the middle of these pictures you can kind of see a cloud of steam coming up from the Micron building. That is where I took the pictures at the end of today's blog to show where we where on the mountain.
